This session will present NWEA’s latest research updates that focus on two questions: “How does student achievement in fall of 2021 compare to pre-pandemic levels?” and “How do gains between fall 2019 and fall 2021 compare to pre-pandemic skip-year growth norms?” Participants will learn to utilize the state dashboard visualization tool, providing insight into Texas-specific achievement and growth data. We will then consider the relationship between student achievement, growth, and proficiency with an opportunity to discuss how educators can respond intentionally to instructional needs.
